This policy covers the offline calculator app. Calculations run on your device. This version has no accounts, ads, analytics, in-app purchases, or automatic data uploads. The app does not sell or share calculation data.

Data on your device

Calculation history (up to 30 entries), saved variables, the last answer, angle and skin settings, calculator memory, and the current expression and cursor stay in local app storage until you delete them. Other tool inputs and results remain in the current session. They are not sent to a server.

The Android app loads its bundled calculator files and blocks external web requests. Its local data uses Android's app storage isolation; the calculator does not provide a separate password or cloud copy. Protect access to your device using its security settings.

Deleting local data

Use Help → Reset local data to clear saved calculations, variables, settings and current tool inputs, including the saved skin selection. History → Clear removes saved history. You can also clear the app's storage or uninstall it. The Android app is configured to exclude its local data from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Transfer behavior can vary by device manufacturer; use your device's storage and transfer controls to manage existing copies. In the browser version, clear this site's data using your browser settings.

Clipboard

Copy writes the displayed result to your device clipboard only when you request it. The app does not read your clipboard. Clearing calculator data does not clear your system clipboard; manage copied content through your device.

Network and permissions

The Android app includes its calculator files and requests no Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, or location permission. It does not transmit calculations, identifiers, or usage events. Your device's own operating system and app store are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Visits to this support website

This website is hosted on OpenAI Sites. Its hosting infrastructure receives connection and request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time, to deliver and protect the website. These requests do not include calculations stored inside the Android app.

Our site pages contain no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, contact forms or calculator-data uploads. The hosting service may use its own operational logs and technologies. The offline app's local-data statements above do not mean that visiting a website sends no technical information.

If you contact us, the address and content you send are used to handle your inquiry through email. Email service providers process messages for delivery and storage. Include only the information needed for your request. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the inquiry or meet applicable legal retention obligations, then deleted. You can use the same address to request deletion of your correspondence, subject to applicable retention requirements.
